“मन बैरागी तन अनुरागी कदम कदम दुश्वारी है, जीवन जीना सहल न जानो बहुत बड़ी फनकारी है|
औरों जैसे होकर भी हम बाइज्जत हैं बस्ती में, कुछ लोगों का सीधापन है कुछ अपनी अय्यारी है|”
Star Cast: Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee, Rakul Preet Singh, Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Pooja Chopra, Adil Hussain and Kumud Mishra
Director: Neeraj Pandey
The title of the film explains the term as a person who is a chameleon in character and works towards mastering in all given situation. It means “master of Beharoooiya”. But it takes a director like Neeraj Pandey to portray this act in such a gripping manner that you look for next scene.
What is Good?
Everytime there is a movie on Army, it excites us for the simple reason that it involves secrecy. So does Aiyaary. Though this time, it’s not about shining glory of Army but dirty secrets of corruption. While movie has legends like Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah, it is the realness in Abhay Singh’s character portrayed beautifully by Manoj Bajpayee is what keeps us glued to the seat.
His wry humour at world problems, delivered in his nonplussed manner, are comic gold.
What is Not so Good?
Sidharth Malhotra is just too handsome to be an Army Officer while Rakul Preet Singh is too beautiful to be a Hacker. Seasoned actors were underplayed due to lack of good role in scripts and climax could have been little filmy.
